This month we take a look at the freeloading friend of the 'Old Croc' the Nitpicker bird. His name says it all. But he gets up to alot more than just Nitpicking in the Swamp strip.

 

Nitpicker is one of those Swamp characters who finds himself  having adventures exploring different ideas and disguises. From exchange student, pirate, backpacker, to public speaker he is constantly re-inventing himself. More often than not he is hanging out with his long suffering friend 'Old Croc', who surely has aged  more quickly since the Nitpicker came to stay. His job is to pick the 'Old Croc's' nits but he seems to spend more time  annoying this long suffering reptile than the nits ever could!
